Relative Value and Worth

It all depends on the type of Quartz. Common quartz is not that valuable because it is so common obviously. Other types of quarts like Rock Crystal is worth something because it is used in jewelry.Prices range from $30 to $300/pound dependng on the quality and the dealer.

Uncleaned mine-run specimen $4-$6 per pound
Material with some of the clay washed off $8-$10 per pound
Cleaned clear specimens in small sizes $10-$15 per pound
Small Aesthetic pieces $25-$50 per pound
