Hi... My name is Kym Stevens, and I am a 30 year old inter-country adoptee. Twenty-eight years ago, I immigrated from Sri-Lanka, my birth country, into Australia, and now live permanently in Brisbane, Queensland. I first became aware of the ICASN network after contacting the Post Adoption Resource Centre (PARC) in Sydney. I was put in contact with Lynelle Beveridge, the Founder of ICASN. I have now had the chance to meet with many wonderful inter-country adoptees throughout Australia. The Queensland division of the Inter-Country Adoptee Support Network began 2 year ago. As the Queensland representative/coordinator, I look forward to meeting many new faces and building up our contacts here in Queensland.
