Messna Trophy
is an annual award given to the goalkeeper adjudged to be the worst at this position as voted by the general managers of all NHL clubs.

Winner: Ed Belfour. With Cujo gone Belfour was brought in to replace the opening Cujo left behind. Fortunately, Belfour was not able to cover the opening of the net behind him very well, either because he was blinded by the constant red light behind him or he was too fascinated with Domi's Gong show on the ice. Whatever the reason, he proved to the rest of the league that he is highly skilled at letting goals in and that is why he has been named the winner of the Messna Trophy.

and the CRABBY award goes to...

all of the blueliners on the Leafs, the best defensemen in the world...when it comes to putting up an innocent face - who? me? what did i do? Can't blame them. The holding, grabbing, and hooking is the core of their game plan, if they didn't have the acting skills, they would sit in the penalty box for the whole game. And it wouldn't hurt to draw some penalties themselves - just fall flat down when a stick comes close and hold face and kick violently in pain. Who needs hockey skills when you've got such a talent for acting.
