MY COMPUTER ACTIVITIES
Home   My Piano Teaching   My Family   My Services   My Friends
My first computer purchase was an NEC 486 desktop, way back in 1995. It had a 650 MB hard disk, 4X CD-ROM, 16 MB of memory, and it cost me nearly RM5,000! Since then, I've used a Pentium 200MMX, Pentium II 400MHz, and am presently on a Pentium III 800MHz. I've also sat for some Microsoft certification exams (and passed!). I'm an MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) in Windows 2000.

I provide two basic services: troubleshooting and repairing PCs, and building complete Intel systems for clients. Troubleshooting and repairing PCs is definitely not a job for the squeamish. Some problems take a very short time to correct and remedy, others take much longer. One needs a lot of patience in this line, plus a good dash of luck.

WHY SHOULD I USE YOUR COMPUTER SERVICES?
* I have over 10 years experience in the PC and repairing field.
* Personalized service-I like to have a good understanding with the client regarding their needs.
* As in any other line, honesty plays an important part in my relationship with my clients. I always explain the truth to them in plain English (some of my clients don't know much about computer technospeak).

At present most of my clients have focused on Intel Pentium 4 systems. I don't mind saying that Intel does make some good stuff. Of course their Pentium 4 processor, but also their motherboards. Their stability is second to none, in my book. I don't build AMD systems because of overheating problems in their CPUs; it's just too much of a bother for me.
Intel D101GGC Motherboard
One of my favourite motherboards at present: the Intel D101GGC. Very cost-effective, with built-in audio and ATI Radeon video, plus it's Ethernet ready.
