Muahahaha! I decided it was time for another lecture! Read this one carefully!

Now, the basic goal of the Pokemon Army is to defend Pokemon. The more complex goal is to get people to see Pokemon as something much more than a "little kids game". In other words, they have to have some reason to respect it.

As fans, we all "represent" Pokemon in some way or fashion. Therefore, what we do also dictates what people think of Pokemon. If someone proclaimed themselves a Pokemon fan, and went around cussing and swearing a lot, they would give Pokemon that sort of image. In the same context, if a proclaimed Pokemon fan was respectable, then they would give Pokemon a more respectable image.

Of course, the first place for us all to start is our own sites. Rule out cuss words, they don't make you cool at all.

Another thing that make people unconciously respect someone (online) is spelling. Believe it or not, I find that when people go around using extreme shortcuts to words and phrases, especially ones that I don't understand, I get really pissed, and sort of don't appreciate the individual. But if someone takes the (little) time to write it all out in plain English, with few flaws, it gives a more grown-up air to the him/her. That would really help to our cause, wouldn't it?

So, this time, try to make yourself respectable. Don't go around blowing up at people, using bad words, making self-conceited statements, and the such. Try to use logic, or witty humor, to deter people that are against you.

Alright, I hope that was a good lecture. Catch y'all later! (and that's not one of those short-cut things, that's one of my sayings that I commonly put at the end of posts)
