About the Pokemon Army
So, exactly what is the Pokemon Army? Yes, we're entitled to defend Pokemon. Of course, what else would we do? In this world after the still-lingering Glory Days of Pokemon, people are very hostile to us Poke-fans. The truth is, there are really a lot of us still out there. We just don't show it.
Another thing is that many people label Pokemon as something for "little kids". Okay, maybe to some old people, we are little kids, but a lot of the haters are our age. And the fact that Pokemon is for little kids is not true at all; in the anime, there are many adult scenes. Unfortunately the US has cut out many of them, giving Pokemon this lowly label.
If you join the Pokemon Army, it is a show of your devotion to Pokemon. After all, you're not about to let people diss you for liking Pokemon and get away with it. Our goal here is to show them that Pokemon is still alive, and that it's not their place to say when it isn't. And we're going to prove to them that Pokemon is a lot more than they think it is, that it's not just some "stupid kid's show", that they're really swimming in unknown waters when they insult us. *okay, that's going a bit deep, but it's true: many people insult us without even knowing the truth of Pokemon, and knowing what they're talking about* So, this is what the Pokemon Army is all about.
