Although the practice is set in Boston Massachusetts, the actual set is in Raleigh Studios, Manhattan Beach California.

Most of the sets are enclosed with four walls, allowing the camera to be a bit more flexible, and enabling us to get a 360 degree view of the room.

We have seen a lot of drama in this courtroom. Aside from being the room where verdict is revealed, one of the more crazy things that have happened in this room includes Lindsay giving birth in it!

If you watch Ally Mcbeal, you may notice that it shares similar building scenes with The Practice. One of those buildings includes the courthouse, and the red building where the firm is supposed to be .

The firm has a relatively small office, and only Bobby Donnel and Eugene Young have their own offices. William Hinks sent a bomb to Lindsay in this office. Luckily, Rebecca and Lucy were able to escape just in time.

Another room in the firm is the conference room, where the lawyers discuss matters with their clients. This is also where they hold meetings and make decisions. (Bobby Donnel's vote- being the senior partner of the firm- counts for two).

This room has also seen some bit of action. In one episode, Lindsay leaped across the conference table and tried to strangle Ellenor. Yep, you read it right.
