| Throughout the entire first book, there was HUNDREDS of referances to werewolves. In Quirrell's class the first years leanred about the treatment of werewolf bites (pg 220 in American Hardcover). Also when Hagrid took Malfoy, Neville, Hermione, and Harry into the woods to search for the unicorn, the fear of werewolves repeatedly came up time and time again. And then later on in History of Magic Exams, Hermione said that she didnt even have to learn the Werewolf Code of Conduct. Creepy right? Maybe if you look really REALLY closely, you too can find seemingly random referances to a perticular thing. | |||||||||||||||||||||
| Although Professor McGonnagal says that fortune telling is an unprecise form of magic, something tells me not to dismiss some of the prophocies, including the ones given by Ronan (the centaur) and Professor Trelawny. Here are the prophecies made by Ronan: Mars is bright tonight (Mars is the controling planet of the sign Aries. Who were the Greek and Roman gods of war? Mars and Aries. Its interesting that during a a pivital part on the book where evil is slowly getting stronger, war would be brewing...) Always the innocent are the first victims (Unicorns in the first book, but could this be foreshadowing? A Special Fan of Harry's is suspose to die. Anyone who admires Harry (Ginny or Colin) are innocent.) The forest hides many secrets (Hagrid's Aragog secret....what else?) AND PROFESSOR TRELAWNY'S |
