| Mr. Weasley, Great Great Guy, right? Well...all we know is that he is NOT part of the "old crowd" that Dumbledore mentions at the end of book 4. The old crowd consisted of Arabellla Figg, Remus Lupin, and Mundungus Fletcher. Mundungus Fletcher's name was said twice so far in the books, both times by the Weasleys. The first was book 2, "Nine raids! Nine! And old Mundungus Fletcher tried to put a hex on me when my back was turned...." So the too arent very friendly are they? The second time was during book 4 when Percy says, "Mundungus Fletcher's just put in a claim for a twelve-bedroomed tent with en-suite Jacuzzi, but I got his number. I know for a fact that he was sleeping under a cloak propped on sticks." Now, where would Percy learn his distrust in Mundungus Fletcher? His father of course. Kids who are racist often have a parent who is; they learn from being around the parent too often. Could this be the same thing? Does that mean that Mundungus Fletcher and the Weasleys might have problems getting along when they join forces to fight Voldemort? | |||||||||||||||||||
| The Mystery Behind the Riddles' Deathes Now you might be saying to yourself, hunh? What are they talking about? Well read carefully. In the begging of book 4,"Fifty years before at daybreakon a fine summer'smorning, when the Riddle House had still been well kept and impressive, a maid had entered the drawing room to find all three Riddlesdead...Lying therewith their eyeswide open! Cold as ice!...Elderly Mr. and Mrs. Riddle had been rich, snobbish, and rude, and their grown up son, Tom, had been, if anything, worse. All the villagers cared about was the identy of their murder - for plainly, three apparantly healthy people did not all drop dead of natural causes on the same night." Welll now, does that mean Tom Riddle, aka Voldemort died? Maybe his human side died? No! Not quite. Think back to book2. Tom Riddle in his diary form, said his witch mother died of child birth and his muggle father abandoned the pregant witch. Also, Tom Riddle was named after his father, and then was sent to the orphanage. So who were the Riddles who died? Tom Riddle Sr. and his parents. Voldemort said he killed his muggle father, and I think that he killed his grandpaents with him. the name "Riddle" would still work since it was his paternal side of the family. And a simple spell, like Avada Kedavra, would finsh the family off without any blood, leaving them, "Lying therewith their eyeswide open! Cold as ice!..." |
