A ganamela by Raiban Orchestra ,Alappuzha was the highlight of the fourth days programme. Raiban has evolved into one of the leading ganamela troups during the recent years . The programme started with a devotional song praising Lord Siva . Their list of film songs opened with the super hit song 'samayamithapoorva sayahnam�' from multi super starred film 'Harikrishnans'. The programme continued with a mix of new Malayalam, Tamil, and Hindi songs like aalilakanna�(from 'Vasanthiyum Lakshimiyum pinne Njanum') mizhiyariyathe� ,prayam nammil �, shukriya�(from 'Niram') hojaayegi balle balle (from Daler Mehndi) en peru padayappa �. (from superstar's 'Padayappa') nandalala o nandalala�( from 'Independence') Uppukaravadu�(from 'Muthalvan') suno sor se�(from 'Dus') bambattuhudugi�,Manjupeyyanu� (from 'chandranudikkunna dikkil'), pazhani mala murukanu�(from Mohanlal's 'Narasimham') and a lot more. Several old immortal songs like 'sankaraa�'(from the greatest musical hit 'Sankarabharanam') 'illimulam kadukalil�'(from KPAC's drama sung by late KS George) and Unarunaroo�(S Janaki's super hit song ) . A christian devotional song was sung in response to the special request from the ulsavam officials. The programme ended with an 'adipoli' Daler Mehndi number. The crowd response was very disciplined with loud applauses for the better ones and a silence for the others. The overall performance was rated as good by the crowd , which is a difficult one to achieve for any ganamela troup from an open air performance. | ||
