Trade: Fauria to Wisconsin for a 13th

[02.22.03] The Wisconsin Wannabes and the Kalamazoo Vikings came to terms in the early morning hours of the 22nd of February. The newest trade in Puck's World Fantasy Football League (PWFFL) sends Christian Fauria, a tight end for the New England Patriots, to Wisconsin for the 153rd selection in the 2003 draft (13.9). The move put Wisconsin over the roster limit of twenty. To comply with the limit, the Wannabes were forced to part ways with Roland Williams, a tight end for the Oakland Raiders.

This trade shores up the spot for Wisconsin, who had been searching for a solid starter since Wesley Walls practically dropped off the planet two years ago. Roland Williams spent almost the entire season on the bench and was injured. The trade also fills the second of two issues the Wannabes wanted to address this offseason. The previous trade with the Seattle Slimy Slugs filled the other.

Kalamazoo is hoping to amass enough draft picks to land a fantasy stud and return to stardom. The limelight has eluded team owner and manager, Puck, for long enough. Trading Fauria was the second trade completed for the Vikings this offseason. Recently the Vikings acquired Moss and a fifth round draft pick in a trade with Seattle.
