Greetings in the name of Jesus from snowy Yoshkar-Ola Russia,
Yes this year it is snowy! we have 3 feet or more of snow on the ground and more on the
way. I live 5 minutes away from a big forest where I go cross-country skiing!! So come on
over here to Russia and minister in the church and then I will take you skiing!!
GOING HOME???!!! which home????
Well its getting to be almost two years since I have been there the states. My Russian
visa runs out the 22nd of April. This is good and this is bad, good as it will be nice to
visit family and friends back home in America and bad because I will have to be separated
from my Russian family of believers here for a period of time!!!!!
So when I am in America I will be home away from home! or some thing like that. These
people here in Russia are precious to me. After seeing communism collapse and then the
seemingly experiment in democracy collapse most live a life of faded dreams and hopes,
that is why it is such a blessing to be able to bring the great news of a hope that NEVER
fades or collapses!!! the good news of Jesus and the
gospel! amen!
TIME IN AMERICA PREACHING IN CHURCHES AND VISITING FAMILY AND FRIENDS
I am basically planning on being in the states from the 22nd of April till the end of
June. I will be home for two reasons,, TO VISIT FAMILY AND FRIENDS AND TO SPEAK IN A FEW
CHURCHES. IF YOU, OUR YOUR CHURCH WOULD ((((((preferable ask the pastor first
this always helps before I would come!! ha!!))) LIKE TO HAVE ME COME AND MINISTER THERE
ARE A FEW WAYS TO CONTACT ME. I AM PLANNING MY
itinerary NOW FOR THOSE DATES SO HURRY AND DOn't MISS YOUR CHANCE TO HAVE
ME.....(((hey!!!! that is good advertising!!! maybe I could open a Pizza Hut here, hmmmmm
....get um while there hot!!!!!)))))))))
WOW, maybe I do need a to make a trip home!!!! ha! Yes I want to. Actually the
Russians say that they don't know any other American missionary like me, who eats their
uncooked salted pigs fat (all Russians eat this) and their favourite drink in the summer
time........ brown bread and sugar fermented in a 3 litre bottle of warm water left
in a warm place for 24 hours!! yes I am serious I like it very much!!! (every Russian
drinks this in the summer time)

CHURCH IN YOSHKAR-OLA
As I am making preparations to travel to the states for a few months I am praying about
who to leave in charge of the church. I sure appreciate your prayers as I do not yet feel
that the church is ready for a full time Russian pastor, at least not yet. So I will be
looking to leave one of our elders in charge for the two months while I am gone. I sure
appreciate your prayers on this.
CHURCH IN ULYANOVSK
I was in Ulyanovsk last week and was so very very blessed by the Russian pastor and his
wife that are at the helm of the the church there. Anatoli is full of vision to reach the
city for Jesus and has a great vision for home groups. The church in Ulyanovsk where I
pastored for 3 and half years is doing very well, it really blessed me.
