Prayer

Just close your eyes

and open your heart

And feel your worries

and cares depart,

Just yield yourself

to the Father above

And let Him hold you

secure in His love.

Please realize this is a privilege - Yet a

definite request of our Lord! We are given

many exhortations to pray. Here's a few

for you to use as a starting point to learn

about if you want. Using a concordance

helps locate scripture. Find all scriptures

relating to your chosen subject and

learn of him!

1 John 5:14 And this is the confidence we

have in Him, that if we ask anything

according to his will, He heareth us:

1 Thess.5:17 Pray without ceasing.

Eph.6:18 Praying always, with all prayer and

supplication in the Spirit, and watching

thereunto with all perseverance and

supplication for all saints;

Mark 9:23 Jesus said unto him, If thou

canst believe, all things are possible to him

that believeth

Mt.18:19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my father which is in heaven.

2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then, will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sins, and will heal their land.
