Srinivasa Raghavan

I was born in 1975 in Madurai, India. I received my B.E. degree (with University rank and distinction) from the school of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Madurai Kamaraj University, India in 1997. During my schooling, I received The Best IEEE Student Award from IEEE, Madras region in 1997 for outstanding contribution for the development of IEEE in that region and performance in studies. I received the M.Sc. degree in Consumer Electronics from the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore in the year 2002. I have 10 years of industrial experience in the field of Digital, mixed signal and RF Product and test Engineering. I started off his career in SPIC Electronics and Systems, Chennai, as a Test Engineer taking care of test software/hardware development to test logic ICs and RCD networks. Following that I have 6 years of experience with STATSChippac Ltd in Test product Engineering dealing with Mixed signal products of Intel and Marvell Semiconductors. Being a six-sigma green belt, I used this concept to achieve process improvement quantifiable to USD7Mil.

I am currently employed as Senior Product Engineer in Xilinx Asia Pacific Pte Ltd, since Aug’05 taking charge of product development of Spartan series devices. My accomplishments in product engineering include development of Vtemp compensation routine, ICC limit setting, Study of parametric drift owing to HTOL and automation of data collection and analysis routines using PERL scripts. My research area is in low power CMOS circuit design that includes Adiabatic logic applied to Digital and signal processing systems. My other interests include improvement of test coverage of ICs, yield improvement, test time reduction and improvement of utilization in test production. I also spend ample time writing quality scripts to automate data crunching and interpretation using PERL & UNIX Shell.

I aspire to become a technopreneur boasting at least 5 patents in my collar. My dream in life is to make a positive impact on at least a million people either through direct or indirect communication. My interest in sociology has no bounds, which gets the drive from my perennial empathy towards my acquaintances. I have unfathomable belief in hard work backed up with appropriate knowledge/skill in reaching my goal.
