Lecithin process Lecithin from the centrifugal separator of the wet degumming department is collected in feed hopper of pump and pumped into the lecithin drier. The incoming material flows downwards and the rotor blades spread it in a thin film which is heated. The generated vapours flow upwards towards the vacuum system through drop separator. The dried lecithin is removed from the department by pump through scrape surface cooler towards the filling station.
Soy Flour process A controlled amount (2 m. tons.hr) of toated meal is discharged from meal conveyor by screw feeder equipped with variable speed drive directly to hammer mill via conveyor and hammer mill feeder. The ground flour is pneumatically transported to a combined cyclonic separator and dust filter by centrifugal fan. The ground material is transferred to a separating sieve in which the fine product (final soy flour) is discharged towards packing.
Textured process The offered extrusion system can be used for the production of a variety of products for human and animal consumption. The raw material required for the process consists of defatted and flash desolventized soyflour as produced from clean, sound and fresh soybeans. The flash desolventized meal discharged from the flash desolventizer unit will be cooled and transported to the TSP (Textured Soy Protein) producing section by a thermopneumatic conveying line. The meal is ground to de desired particle size of 100-200 mesh by hammer mill. Then the ground meal is transferred to the extruder. The result is an expanded product which matrix consists of the denatured, largely insoluble proteins in the form of interwining layers or strings of varying size. The product will be discharged from the dryer/cooler at sufficient low moisture content and sufficient low temperature to permit bulking or packing for storage and distribution. Product sizing by menas of a screen is done prior to packing. Output from the shaker is transferred by conveyor to the packing hopper.
