Many a times I've wondered-why would people want to know me? I'm quite an inconsequential guy stuck in his own small world with ideas that are of no use to anyone but himself (and that even, not always). Why should I be writing about me over here? What is there in me which I want to expose to the outside world? Frankly speaking, no one knows the answer. Yes, not even me. But still I want to express myself. So that the world can know me, so that people can understand me. My close friends know more about me than anyone else (including me) and this site is not for them. This is for people who don't know me, people who don't have any interest in Prithwish Mukherjee from a third person's point of view but who want to know me as I know myself. This is about my life, my thoughts, my surroundings, my ups, my downs. This is Bad Prit, Unplugged, just as I know him, just as I like people to know him, just as I want people to remember him.
I don't quite know if the contents of this site would provide for a good reading. People tell me that I tend to be one of the most boring people around. And I can't contradict them. Even I get bored with myself sometimes. Question is, should I bring my own boring self to the public? Should I feed them with this junk of gibberish just for the sake of it, and in my attempt to do so cure the severest case of insomnia? No way. That would be an insult to my spirit. Though my body stays in my room, my spirit refuses to do so. It scales the highest of the peaks, dives into the deepest of waters, ventures into the thirstiest of the deserts, trudges through the densest of the forests. So why do I need to mask this spirit to make for an interesting reading?
