5 Points of Calvinism Debate Series

This debate came about by offer of Nick Norelli through an AOL chatroom. Nick is a Christian gentlemen in search of the truths of God. He and I have been able to engage in this delicate topic while maintaining a spirit of Christian love and hospitality. There is much that is said behind the scenes of the debate especially that really shows his Character. Nonetheless, these debates are the most important on this website so far for in them is a basic understanding of the Gospel. How sinful is humanity? Did God elect some unto salvation or did He leave it open for any to choose for themselves? Did Christ die for all equally and indiscriminately or only for those whom He intended to save? Does God leave regeneration up to us or does He sovereignly regenerate those whom He calls? Can a Christian lose their salvation or are they kepts by the power of God unto salvation? These are very important questions. How we understand each of them shows our understanding of the Gospel or our lack thereof.
