`PAST PRESENT AND FUTURE DEVELOPMENTS
"Praizion" was fashioned from the phrase "Praise from Zion".
Under previous names, various projects were undertaken by Phil C. in the mid and late nineties from various styles of Gospel and Jazz.
With various influences and genres of music being explored in so short a time frame, Phil C. saw establishing Praizion Records inevitable. As his work and ideas progressed, it became quite apparent that he needed to join forces with others of like mind and vision.
In the space of 8 years, Praizion Records has released a number of exclusive recordings. Praizion Records is currently working on the release of a debut gospel jazz album titled, "Prophetic Melody". "Prophetic Melody" is a bold spiritual statement of freedom in the realm of the Spirit through Jesus Christ expressed through a mix of instrumentals and vocals.
Phil C. says: "Getting lost in music is like getting lost in Christ. ....a freedom that banishes every element of fear, to be free and do the unthinkable, grab those big chords and tinkle those ivories in an enigmatic, awesome yet familiar melody".
Phil C. has been greatly influenced by Bishop TD Jakes, Kirk Franklin, Ben Tankard, Chick Corea, Take Six, Andre Crouch, Carman, Bob James, Spyrogyra, to mention a few.
Praizion Records is directed and managed by Phyl. Her keen ear for good music and devoted loyalty to the company has birthed several ongoing projects. Phyl is also part of the production team.
