Observing
the law of Moses that after the first child was born
in a family, he should be brought to the temple. God once told the
Israelites that the first-born belonged to Him.

Hail Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with thee;
Blessed are thou among
women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus sacrificed.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
