Digitized from the NAMRIA’s Topographic Map, scale 1:50,000, the PPDO-GIS Section is now capable of printing this map in any scale that our equipment allows. Other themes such as vegetative cover can also be overlayed.

Land Use Vegetative Cover

Digitized from a print-out acquired from Geoplan with scale of 1:125,000, this theme can be overlayed with any other themes we have.

Slope Map

Digitized from map sheets acquired from the Bureau of Soils with scale of 1:50,000. This theme can be overlayed with any other themes we have. This can also be printed in any scale that our equipment allows.

Contour Map

Digitized from the NAMRIA’s Topographic Map, scale 1:50,000, the PPDO-GIS Section is now capable of printing this map in any scale that our equipment allows. Other themes such as Political Boundaries and vegetative cover can also be overlayed.

Administrative Boundaries

Digitized from NAMRIA’s Topographic Map, scale 1:50,000, the PPDO-GIS Section is now capable to printing this map in any scale that our equipment allows. Only the municipal boundaries are available as these are the only boundaries reflected on the source map. Other themes can be overlayed to produce a very informative thematic map. Municipal data such as Demographic, Poverty Indicators, Agricultural, etc., can also be attached to these boundaries to show relativities with each municipalities.

Road Network

Digitized from the NAMRIA’s Topographic Map, scale 1:50,000, the PPDO-GIS Section is now capable of printing this map in any scale that our equipment allows. This theme can also be overlayed with other theme to produce custom informative maps. The downside is that this theme is not well updated and many road networks, especially municipal and barangay roads, are not reflected. Only National and Provincial Roads are included here and it is by no means complete.

Municipal Land Use Maps

Municipal LGU’s sometimes ask our services in digitizing their maps for their uses, especially for the Comprehensive Land Use Plan (CLUP). We provide them with hard copies of the maps, and if they require, we also provide them with the digital files while retaining copies of these files in our storage. We make them available for our customers whenever they require maps from these municipalities. The downside is that these maps can not be overlayed to any of our themes because most of it are not geographically referenced. We don’t understand why, but the LGU’S won’t use the Cadastral Maps for their planning activities.
