Community Service
Community Service is a very important to the Portsmouth MOMS ClubŪ. Each year the Club donates hundreds of non-perishable food items and new and unwrapped gifts to food and toy drive programs in the community. In addition, the Club has adopted a Girls Home in Portsmouth and has provided the teenagers with food, blankets, duffle bags, and health and beauty items. In 2003 the Club developed a program to share a craft and snack with residents at Aquidneck Place, an assisted living facility, each month.
Whatever project, big or small, the Club members take pride in knowing they extended an extra helping hand to a mother, child or teenager in a time of need.
