About Us
The MOMS ClubŪ (MOMS Offering Moms Support) of Portsmouth is an active chapter of an international non-profit organization aimed at providing support for mothers who stay at home to raise their children. Founded in 1993, the Portsmouth chapter is celebrating over 10 years of Moms Club fun on Aquidneck Island.
Our goals include: Providing a forum for topics of interest to women, giving mothers more of a voice in local affairs, having fun with our children and performing service projects in our community, especially those benefiting children.
The Moms Club of Portsmouth sponsors a number of events each month designed to get moms out of the house and into the community. From playgroups to planned play days and outings, the club introduces moms with children of all ages to new activities and other moms within the community. In addition, the club sponsors numerous community service drives throughout the year to assist women and children in need.
