Sexual Chocolate and the Backyard Fire Music Mafia was a one-time only improv free-jazz noise freakout collective, featuring many members of the extended Porkslab family. With instruments ranging from guitars to bongos to tambourines to bass to didjeridu to keyboards to fife to metal chairs to cassette players to water poured on fire, the gang convened on the evening of June 19, 2002, in Stan Moody's backyard, to try and have a laid back noise cacophony the likes of which hath never been seen. As a fire blazed on (a constant at Stan's pad), Sexual Chocolate played two extended improv compositions (both untitled), sending the freakiness of free noise jazz into the summer night. The performance was recorded and videotaped, although a "live album" type of release is doubtful. Instead, Sexual Chocolate will likely come to stand as simply a lovely experience, with noisecore experimentation amongst friends on a laid back summer eve. Summer's Eve?! Sick, dude! :)
