Mario is a diamond amongst coal. A singer-songwriter with a tendency towards lo-fi recordings and hilarious lyrical ponderings, Mr. Speedwaggin' has been dubbed "the king of quirky songs" by the press. With straightforward, earnest narratives about subjects ranging from driving to the Fireside Bowl to his loyalty to Porkslab Records, Mario Speedwaggin' is always enjoyable, in either a live setting or on the infamous but rare tapes he records in his room. He is also the greatest man alive.
