Over the past several years, new studies have suggested that we have over-vaccinated our dogs in the past.

The following chart outlines the changes, as well as the recommendations that you should follow regarding

These new protocols will provide the same protection, but with much less risk of adverse reactions.  Note:  If you take your dog to a dog park, kennel, obedience training classes or your dog comes in contact with other dogs on a regular basis, it is also recommended that you have your dog vaccinated annually for Bordetella (Kennel Cough). Although the Bordetella vaccine only covers two variations of kennel cough and is no guarantee against your dog getting it, it should be considered when your dog is around other animals.  In addition to the above, your dog/puppy should be dewormed as a puppy and again annually if they are in contact with other dogs on a regular basis.
