Torched Turkey Award

LIONS & TIGERS & BEARS. OH MY! A new season has begun. It's me, the "Powers That Be." I represent the Fantasy Football League. Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain. I'm the REAL DEAL & I'm here to let you know that if you've got a heart, if you've got courage & if you only had a brain, "I'll get you, my pretty. And your little dog too."

You're not in Kansas anymore & this is where you get our "coveted" weekly award, The Torched Turkey. Never authenticated, often duplicated, the TTA shows what could have been had you made all the right moves. The award has a very storied history in the league & most of you have already experienced the joy of receiving it over all these years.
 
Now it's time for someone to follow the yellow brick road to the 2006 FFL Wall of Shame and it's not somewhere over the rainbow.

The Lone Flamingo was not alone in winning this week. Welcome to the FFL, Freakishly Large-Eared Chihuahuas. Both teams ended up at the bottom of the standings after Week 1. The Flamingo could have had 6 pts. each from Phillip Rivers & Clinton Portis along with 9 pts. from Jeremy Shockey. They also missed 37 pts. from the Baltimore defense. The Chihuahuas missed out on 9 pts. each from Drew Bledsoe & Terrell Owens. Algae Crumpler also scored 6 pts. The big miss was with Jeff Wilkins who scored 27 pts.
