Pokemon Crystal

Pokemon Stadium 2

The New Version!

Yes! It has finally been released in Japan! Pokemon
Crystal. Once know as Pokemon Project X, the new version of
the pokemon games, Pokemon Crysal has been released in
Japan. But we don't know if it will be released outside of
Japan.

For those of you who don't know what Pokemon Crystal is,
it's a new version of Pokemon for gameboy. It's what
Pokemon Yellow was for Pokemon Red and Blue. It's a special
edition of Pokemon Gold and Silver. But it's worth it to buy
it. It is in the same worlds. There's no Orange Islands.
There aren't any new pokemon either. But there are many
improvements.

The best thing of all, is that you can battle and train
with cell phones. There is a new device called the "Mobile
Adapter." The mobile adapter is a cable that connects to
every cell phone and to your gameboy. In the game you have
to go to a special place to go battle or trade pokemon with
a friend who has a gameboy. I don't know where this area is
though and you can only do this with Pokemon Crystal. The
problem is that in America, cell phones aren't as popular as
they are in Japan. In Japan, almost every person has a cell
phone. So the mobile adapter might not come in America.

Some improved aspects of the new version are:
1. You can choose to be a boy or girl trainer.
2. You can capture celebi, #251. (Celebi is a rare pokemon
that is as rare as mew) You can catch celebi after receiving
the GS ball. It's at the shrine in the Ilex Forest.
3. You can also trade pokemon and battle through cell phones
with the mobile adapter!
4. You can play it on Pokemon Stadium 3 (Stadium 2 in
America; this version of Pokemon Stadium lets you play with
Gold, Silver, and Crystal on it. It will come out in America
soon.)
5. It will only be availabe on Gameboy Color.
6. It will support the Game Boy Printer, Game Link Cable,
Infrared Port, Transfer Pack, and Mobile Adapter.
7. When you change routes or cities, text messages appear at
the bottom of the screen and they tell what city or route
you're on.
8. Some pokemon can learn different moves than usual. Like
Dugtrio can learn Tri-Attack and Eevee can learn Baton Pass.
9. The Goldenrod Pokemon Center has become a large
communication center where you can find info on the mobile
adapter.
10. The Unown puzzles have changed.
11. Suicune has become a major player in the game.
