"Asshole!" he kicked the body. "Why'd you have to steal her? We were supposed to be close!"
When he woke up, life was pretty good. He had a girl who cared about him, his best friend was his big brother, there was still a month left before his junior year of high school started. Even when school did start it was going to be good times because his brother was going to be a senior and well...he had his girl to show off. All year long. Until she went to college. And college for him? Not looking bad at all. He was already getting letters. It was just a matter of picking the right one. And he knew where he was going too. "This is all your fault," he said. "You shouldn't of taken her from me. You could of had anybody..." But...now instead of lot's of sunshine in his life, there was blood. It was everywhere. On the tracks, on his hands, on his clothes, where wasn't there blood? All because of a stupid fight. "What have I done?" This was their place. Under this bridge. Near their school. Close to home. It wasn't a secret place, all the graphiti from the other people who knew about the place made it hard to think of it as a secret place, but it was theirs. In all the times they had come there since they were children, they never ran into anyone else there. Sometimes pictures and words just happened to appear there. It's where they came when they wanted to be alone. "I have to tell you something, but I don't want to do it over the phone. Go to the Tracks." That's the message he had on his cell phone. He didn't have a clue until he got here. His brother didn't try to b.s. him or sugar coat things. He told him exactly what had happened. He was about to apologize, but the fight began then. He knew he couldn't beat his brother, but he didn't know what else to do. He was furious. He was pissed. His girl? It just wasn't fair. Big brother tripped and rolled down the steep incline under the bridge. He rolled right into the tracks of the train. Nobody saw except him so the train didn't even stop. Just kept going.
