Has it reached that point yet where the word 'guitar' starts to warp and you stare
at it for so long you wonder why it is even English? That happens to me too. I like saying
a word over and over again till it sounds alien, disoriented. Huh? gooey-tar?
gweet-aaa-rrrr?
Well anyway. I... have... a guitar.
I'm suddenly quite aware of it, shaken out of my reverie. And perhaps, not surprisingly, I
had my daily low-point almost immediately after purchasing it with my dad. Our fight
soured my joy and all mood of celebration, like it always does.
I haven't even unlatched my guitar case yet. The guitar is
inside. It has been since 7:45 pm. Before I started to mess with the fonts up there,
realisation had dawned on me, that I finally have a guitar, it's in my room, it's entirely
my own, I have lessons scheduled for this Sunday to catch up and eventually, every Friday,
I'll be even closer to knowing how to play it right, every week.
Oh. Oh wow.
