SWELLSBORO TO CLOSE FOR REPAVING PROJECT
SWELLSBORO COUNCIL
APPROVES ASYLUM
SWELLSBORO - The Boro Council of Supreme Beings gave full approval to the new Insane Asylum proposed for the lot at the corner of South Ave. and Dribble Street, at the last Council meeting on Sept. 31st.
SWELLSBORO BORO - Boro officials ann- ounced on Oct. 1st that the entire Boro of Swellsboro will be closed for an undetermined period of time, to offer maximum convenience to the contractor doing the paving.
The Asylum, designed to house homicidal maniacs, lunatics, incurable drug addicts and Right-wing talk show hosts, was proposed by the Nutz-Spredders Ministries of Washbasin, New York. Construction is set to be completed before the Swellsboro Chickens of A X-Mas conflagration in early December.
"It's easier this way," said Boro Mayor Mike Cheese. "People will just have to fend for themselves. Knowing Swellsboro, nobody will mind in the least, or complain at all."
Asked when the project will be completed, site Project Foreman Harry Backe of Kiss My Asphalt Repaving Co., reiterated: "When we're done, that's when, so shut up, you hayseed."
"We think that there is a clear need for this kind of facility in Swellsboro right now," says Vic Frankenstein, Head Zookeeper for NSM.
The residents of Swellsboro were unavailable for comment as of press time.
"That and the fact that no other municipality would allow us to bring in 1000 totally insane criminals. It's to Swellsboro's credit that they are so accepting of dangerous lunatics who may escape and wreak havoc upon the community. I think the people here are just swell," says Vic.
WALLYMART CLOSES
DOORS DUE TO PROFIT
RICHMAN TOWNSHIP - It was announced by township Supervisors and OffRamp Exploitation Committee on Sept. 32nd, that the WallyMart HumongoCenter on business Rt. 13 will be closing it's doors on Oct. 10th, so that the store may privately count all the money they have made since driving out all other competition in the area since the doors first opened, over ten years ago.
COUNTY LEAF-PEEPER
INFESTATION WORSENS
WYDONCHA- Potsylvania State Forest and Killing Ground officials reported on Sept. 33rd that the ongoing problem with the annual pest  in the county has worsened, and is expected to hit a saturation point very soon.
"The doors may reopen on the 18th or so, depending how long it takes our co-buddy-worker -pals to count it all. It's a lotta money, really," says store manager Penny Skweezer.
The influx of the troublesome Leaf-peepers, or Flatlandus Flatulentsis has been quite a challenge in years past, but this year will be worse than most, says Wanda Weriam, Chief BugBuster for Wydoncha County.
"This just goes to show you how far predatory business practices can take you, if you really give it your all. This inspires everyone in America," adds Penny. "It brings tears to my eyes."
"I hate them, I really hate them," says Wanda. "They have horrible accents, no respect for private property, and they parade our streets aimlessly on Sundays, as if they expect our shops to be open. I wish they would all just lock themselves out of their SUVs and walk home, Gol-darn-it," she adds.
LOCAL MAN PINCHES
LOAF ON MOX NEWS
LADYSLAWN - His Dad did it, his Mom did it, and now Willy B. Dunn has fullfilled his dream of squeezing a fresh loaf on a national news show.
County residents are cautioned not to speak directly to the hordes of invaders, but to politely say: "I dunno," should any of the destructive varmints inquire about a location where they might purchase beer or cash a personal check. If a confrontation with one of these creatures is unavoidable, officials suggest that residents back away slowly, avoid eye contact, and sic the dog on them.
Appearing  last week on the Donna Dress Distraction Hour, shown  weeknights from 7pm to 11pm on all MOX News affilliate TV stations, Willy displayed his longtime talent of squeezing bread through the wrapper to determine its freshness.
"It's all in the wrist," commented Willy to host Donna Dress. "Mom told me when I was a small child, that someday, if I pinched a fresh loaf everyday, I could really go places."
WYDONCHA COUNTY
"Of course, a good whiff of the product always helps, but it's really in how you squeeze it that makes the difference. I've never brought home a stale one yet," added Willy who works at Butt-Crust Bakeries in LarryVille.
FEATURED IN RATIONAL
GEETHATSGRAPHIC MAG
OZZIE - The world-renowned Men's mag, Rational Geethatsgraphic has devoted its entire October issue to the Chicks of Wydoncha, and the Wydoncha County Wedevelopment Corp. is all perked up about it.
Willy's appearance on the DD Distraction Hour was part of a week-long series on small-town heroes that MOX News has been running throughout the month of September, seen locally on BIG MOX Channel 129, of Maizeing, New York.
"It's just great that people outside of the area can keep abreast of what we have to show here in Wydoncha County," says Barbie Jiggles, WCWC Director of Growth and Support. "We work real hard to give folks something to point to, and it's nice to get full recognition."
Trying to duplicate Willy's talent, host Donna soon gave up, claiming she had been up all night at a  MOX NEWS talking-points seminar, and was too pooped to pinch.
"Besides," adds Barbie, "they grow so quickly around here due to the care and attention we give them, they become roosters and hens in no time at all."
