The Marumba Tribe Holds The Immunity Idol
Welcome to the Sixth Tribal Council for the Retro Edition of Survivor on the Net! Well, the Marumba tribe seems to be flying high lately with their second challenge win here on the Mountain. They also recieved 150 jet points for their excellent website and for their effort that Paguchi doesn't seem to want to put out. I must, however, mention that Paguchi isn't dead, the record stands so far 2 wins and 2 losses for both tribes. Paguchi can redeem themselves so easily if some of their members would just wake up and play! I know at least two members of the Paguchi tribe that are carrying the other members on their backs. Tonight is your night to get rid of those monkeys on your back! No surprise when I say that only half the Paguchi tribe voted :-(. Let's go tally the votes and find out who the sixth person voted out of SOTN VI will be! Chrissy voted for MITCH: "NO help in any way shape or form." "Are you happy with the way the first tribal merge has turned out for you so far: I am somewhat happy, but Im disgusted with some of the inactivity going on here. The last challenge should have gotten done, and the challenge before that should have had more than myself working on it. Linda voted for MARIE: "The right thing to do." Will voted for MITCH: Reasoning unavailable That makes 2 votes for Mitch and 1 vote for Marie. Adam voted for MARIE: Reasoning unavailable ANDY Z. did not vote, MITCH did not vote, and KYLE did not vote. The last vote will decide it, if Marie voted then Mitch is out! If Marie didn't then we have a tie! Here's the final vote... Eighth and Final Vote goes to... MARIE (did not vote) WE HAVE A TIE!! The 2 M's of the Paguchi tribe now are both in danger of being voted out right now. Time to turn to the sinister previous votes. Let's look at Marie's total first.... ........................... ONE! Now possibly the deciding total, how many previous votes for Mitch..........................ZERO!!! There you have it! Marie is the sixth person voted out of SOTN VI. That one previous vote from the first round comes back to haunt you as Mitch you can breathe a sigh of relief. Thanks for playing Marie, I'm sure the fact that you were the most recent Ultimate Survivor on the Net in our fifth edition played no role in your being voted out. ;-) THE TRIBE HAS SPOKEN. |

Design-a-Tribal Flag Reward Challenge
Hello All-Star Survivors on the Net, It's once again time for a new reward challenge! This is the first reward challenge for the Mountain series so I hope you are all well-rested and ready to test your creativity. Your challenge is to create a tribal flag or banner. I'm going to leave everything open for you all to explore, so there are no rules. From radical animation, to traditional and to the point. Anything goes. I'm judging on not only creativity, but also effectiveness. Put a little meaning into them and you are sure to do well! I will give both tribes until tomorrow night at 11 PM CNT to complete their flags. Someone from each tribe must email me and Mary Jo their tribal flag and then (if possible) place it as the picture to your new Yahoo Groupsite you created for the race to the mountain challenge. What about the reward you ask?! Well, what could be better then tribal jet points? Any ideas...? How about tribal AND individual jet points!!! Before this challenge I only gave out tribal rewards, but now points will be assigned to a certain tribe and its players BOTH. The winning tribe of this reward challenge will receive 240 jet points, with every player on that tribe receiving 30 points each. So if Marumba wins, it will be 30 points for each player times 7 players equals 210 points (30 more of those points will be put into the tribal tally to make a grand total of 240). If Paguchi was to win, they would have 30 points for each player times 8 players equaling 240 points (no need for the 30 tribal points since they have 8 players). This may sound complicated, but it's actually very simple, but If you have questions let me know! I'll be judging the flags tomorrow night! Survivors Ready? GO!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello All-Stars on the Net, Welcome back to the Create-A-Flag Reward Challenge. I have now received submissions from both tribes, and I must say you have all done a very impressive job! Both submissions were great, but I really can only choose one to win! Darren and the Marumba Tribe decided to try some animation in their flashy tribal information flag, while Chrissy and the Paguchi Tribe decided to take the traditional route and designed a really nice flag with player pics and backgrounds from the game. Before I make my decision I want you to all know how difficult it is to make a decision and that I really love both submissions. Since I noticed some players helped out more than others, I'm going to give extra points right now to worthy players. First Darren. He created an entire website with 4 flash blanners, and 1 stationary banner. Next Chrissy. Chrissy took the upper hand in her tribe and designed her flag independently and without much feedback. For these reasons I'm issuing 50 jet points to Chrissy and Darren. Those totals will count independently and to both their tribes. Congrats and great work! Now onto a decision I still find difficult to make. Because of it's rich textures, and beautiful layouts the Paguchi tribe are the winners of the reward challenge, but in all fairness to the Marumba tribe, I'm going to give Paguchi only half the points I decided upon in the email. So Paguchi gains 15 jet points for each of it's players which gives them a total of 120 jet points gained tribally. Marumba, I can't really find anything wrong with your flash banner, it's simply I have never seen a better flag in any game then the one Paguchi submitted so I must give them credit for that. I have attached Paguchi's winning submission. Here is the link to Marumba's banner: http://www.geocities.com/sotn_reward/2.html
Very Tough Decision to be Made!!
The New Immunity challenge was along the same theme as the previous one, but this time it was to design a tribal website. Here are the results: As I walked upon the clear snow-shoveled path to the Marumba camp(web)site I was very impressed to see all the time and hard work they put in it together as a tribe. With the exception of one player, the entire tribe should be commended for a job well done. Check out their website after you're done reading the rest of the results. http://www.geocities.com/marumba_tribe Paguchi was a different story, as I walked down the snow covered path to their tribe I was shocked and surprised to see that within four days Paguchi didn't do a single shred of work. I don't think I've been more happier to send a tribe to tribal council then I am now! I know at least one of you did try to motivate your tribal members, but it didn't seem to work. If their was some sort of strategy in this move I don't really respect it when it is one of dormancy. Paguchi, you won the last immunity challenge, but you most certainly do not deserve to win this one. Congratulations to the Marumba Tribe! The immunity idol is yours! Paguchi, please take this time to vote out one of your most inactive members now! Your votes on the summit are due in by tomorrow (Monday) night. I was going to have a reward challenge for both tribes tomorrow night, but instead I'm going to REWARD the Marumba tribe 150 jet points for their great website and active players! Congrats again Marumba, you all deserve it. So instead of the reward challenge there will be an immunity challenge! It will not be speed, however it is very important that you read up on it before it's too late!
