SOTN All-Stars Days 57-59

Post-first merger vote outs:

All you players make up the final eight! You have come a long way, you've "been through the desert on a horse with no name", on SOTN I, you've said "ain't no mountain high enough!" to SOTN II, and now that "you're as cold as ice" after SOTN III, you are on your way to the exotic Amazon river where "the lion sleeps tonight."

Do I smell reward challenge?? Mhh hmm, if you can send me in the artists to those songs I put in quotation in the previous paragraph, then I will give you 50 jet points! I'm going to award those points to the first 4 players to email me the correct answers. Good Luck.

Now that's just the minor reward challenge, here's the big one. We need a good, new tribal name that should fit the "retro" theme. It should be something a bit radical, but somehow related to the game. As long as it sounds "cool" you will have a chance. Now if you are chosen to win this reward challenge then you will gain PERSONAL IMMUNITY at the next tribal council!!! ADAM, CHRISSY, LINDA, and WILLIAM already have immunity from the Friend or Foe reward challenge, so if one of them wins this one then that will be TWO personal immunities in a row!! Mary Jo and myself will judge your entries and decide which one we think is most suited. Please try to get all entries in by Sunday night if you want to participate. *Zeb, Mary Jo, and Netsy all wave good bye to the polar bears, and the friendly natives, as their plane takes off, and the beauty of the island of Iceland finally fades in the foreground.

Those are the answers I was looking for when originally sending your mini-reward challenge, but I researched the variety of answers I received and found that there have been many other versions of these classic songs. The first four people to email their answers were Diego, Linda, Will, and Joseph. Some answers were different, but they were all CORRECT!! So congrats to them for winning 50 jet points!!

Hang tight guys! Mary Jo and I will compare notes and tomorrow you will receive our choice for best-suited new merged tribal name. From the submissions we have received this will be a tough decision. Tomorrow night there may be an immunity challenge, and if there is it will be non-speed.

Pre-Amazon Reward Challenge

*Two airplanes are stationed near the glacier. The hosts and both tribes are gathered (with their pocession in their back packs) at the tribal council area confused as to whether they will be sent out as one whole tribe, or as two seperated tribes.

Zeb- Hello All-Stars!! What do you say we get out off this cool island, and head to the warm rainforest?
Ok....

*Zeb is interupted by a sudden emergence of three great polar bears from the first immunity challenge in this series. It looks as though "Netsy" is riding one, and Darren and Derek are riding the other two!

Zeb- Nice entrance there Netsy! Well, I think you have some explaining to do since it looks like some how Darren was sent home, when really he should have been considered the first member of the jury!

*Netsy throws her hands over her eyes and let's out a loud squeel.

Mary Jo- Well actually Zeb, you can't just blame the monkey, after all, you should have known
with only 9 tribal councils remaining we would only have 8 members in the jury that way.

Zeb- Ok, fine, you're right!....Sorry Netsy.

*Netsy shakes her fist at Zeb and jumps off the great polar bear and runs inside the left airplane and slams the door shut.

Zeb- So I stand corrected. Derek is the first member of the jury, while Darren is the second member. Well, now that that's out of the way here's what I want, I want you all to now run inside the right side plane!!

*Zeb and Mary Jo run inside the left side plane. Zeb notices that the players are all loaded into the other plane, so he then grabs a microphone. Over the loud speakers Zeb says...

Zeb- You know what this means players?? YES!!!!! Time for the big merger!! You are now one tribe!! No more tribal challenges, no more Paguchi and no more Marumba!! From now on you will all be playing for yourselves as individuals.
