| The "Traditional" SOTN Campsite Challenge |
| The tradition continues! If my hint wasn't enough yesterday than I will confirm that yes, it's the challenge that brings you all together to work as one tribe, the campsite immunity challenge. Your task is to first find your tribe's campsite somewhere in Yahoo Groups and join it. Once you have joined, start to post as many pictures and messages as you can. There is a catch! You may only post 10 pics, and 20 messages within one hour. If you post more within that hour your extras will not count. Each message and pic will count for points. Here's how the scoring will be tallied: 1. general pictures - 5 points 2. general messages (must be at least one sentence long!) - 1 point. 3. any Netspider monkeys you can find (from my site or any others) - 10 points 4. the E-survivor frog- 8 points 5. Jared, the subway guy, not to mention major annoyance from SOTN IV ;-) - 8 points 6. BONUS: the dog hand puppet from the now defunct, pets.com - 20 points. I have set up folders in the photo gallery for each player to post their pics individually. Please use them! If creating a second folder then note 2nd in the title to avoid confusion. The tribe with the most points at the end of the challenge will win the first immunity challenge. You all have earned a break and don't have to worry about tribal council for this round. Yanomamo, some of you pulled your weight in gold, while others may have only just tagged along. It's not an easy task, but I must now call on you all to take the long hike up the sand dune to vote at your first tribal council. I will be waiting for you at the top of the dune. | I have inspected both Svidandi and Yanomamo's tribal campsite's very thouroughly and all I can say is thank heavens the SOTN desert is a cool place at night because you all know the heat you have to suffer from during the day time. Actually, it only took me all night long, (lol) but we have a winner in what was a VERY CLOSE challenge! Let's take a look at the run down of scoring. Svidandi was truly able to excel with tons of pics being posted by all their members, but two. I found many netspider monkeys, e-survivor frogs, and pet.com puppets, unfortunately I ran into some before pics of Jared as well, but they were all tallied together for a total of 1,362 picture points. The messages were harder to tally, but I gave Svidandi 302 points all together for them. This gives the total points assigned to Svidandi at 1,664! Great job Svi! When I made my way over to the Yanomamo campsite I was impressed by the high score of 468 for messages posted to the board. Socializing within your tribe is obviously a good thing. I checked your picture total and was equally impressed to find many netspiders, netspider monkeys, e-survivor frogs, puppets, and of course Jared pics as well! Your total points for your pictures section is 1,051. That gives you a total of 1,519 points! Great job Yano! |

| Well, back at the challenge area in the desert of the first Survivor on the Net Edition, I have received emails from both Melanie and Josh Y. answering my ten question email I sent them a few hours ago. I first received answers from Melanie, who had most questions right, except a few. Later on I received an email from Josh Y. who got all his answers right except for three. Congrats to Josh Y.!!! You avoid being voted and can live for at least the next immunity challenge! Melanie, you are a true SOTN veteran and I am sorry to see you go so soon. | Well i guess it was good while it lasted, i figured mine was due to non-participation in the first challenge, and since i do have limited net access i can understand. Well the first two SOTN's i was in, i was one of the few last voted off, so it stands to reason that the last two SOTN's i've been in, to be one of the first or the first to go.
