Two of the Company's most illustrious members (well, for now at least), S/Sgt Japson Wong and Sgt Nicholas Pang, attended their first Founders' Badge interview - and probably the company's first ever - under Mr Francis Chiong, BBM Executive Secretary...

The Doctrine of Japson was impressed upon the members real hard. This time around, eight members were on the receiving end, as he drove sheer leadership into them from 30 May - 2 June 2003...

All was forgiven as Junior, Senior and Girls' Brigade members egged each other on in the inaugural Easter Party 2003, also a scene of fellowship between recruits and current members...

Eighteen old members - and I daresay, four hundred birds - gave a part of their lives to charity for three weeks running, as we peddled chickens at RM 15 apiece in aid of the St Theresa's Hostel in Kota Marudu...

The upward trend of the company was hard to buck, as S/Sgt Japson Wong mobilized the oldies into action with a rousing Recruitment Campaign that hit the Sacred Heart Parish hard...

At long last, the unpaid hours paid off, as 4th KK entertained the field with gusto at the SM All Saints Annual Sports Day, courtesy of an exclusive invitation to perform 5 tunes as guest artistes...

More details on the Band Revival. If instrument lineups, date and time listings, and general organizational mishmash appeal to you, please check this out.

After an unceremonial lapse of ten years, Sgt Nicholas Pang and his All Saints crack squad are attempting to revive the company band. In style AND haste. As it is, upon request, we have been invited as guest artistes at the SM All Saints Sports Day on 1 March. Click above for further details...

After toying with the football faculty at SM All Saints, the boys further proceeded to Andy's place for what everyone assumed was a farewell party. The truth and officers' schedules conspired to leave the boys at free will...

SM All Saints recently celebrated its centenary celebration - that's a hundred whole uninterrupted years of education, mind you - with the omnipresent 4th KK around as usual to brew a ruckus.

From 10.00 am to 5.00 pm on a balmy Sunday afternoon, the Basic Drill trainees were subjected to mental and physical torture of the highest probable degree at the Sacred Heart Multi-Purpose Hall, as six unrelenting examiners probed the depths of their drill ignorance...

Four companies - 3rd KK, 4th KK, 9th KK and 1st Penampang - participated in the inaugural (well, at least as far as anyone can remember) Basic Drill Training Course, hosted by the 4th KK @ Sacred Heart Cathedral. A four day diary of the horrors that ensued follows.

With the Nature Awareness/Naturalists' badge firmly in their sights, ten 4th KK members headed out to the Kota Kinabalu City Bird Park for an afternoon cuppa tea with nature...

One last carollers' party before the heavy eating winds down for the year...organized by the benevolent hosting authority, the Sacred Heart Parish, for all who had participated in making the church-level carolling a success...

Following our traffic direction stint at the Carolling by Candlelight function at Padang Merdeka, another barbeque was on the cards. This time around, the adults were firmly in the driving seat...but that never preventes us from our usual horrifying doses of fun.

Company Barbeque #02 took shape at Darren's place, also under the guise of yet another thanksgiving fiesta. Considering we were sober, 2 am IS an ungodly hour to leave...

The first company barbeque of the year, and none the less diminished by its secondary role as a Thanksgiving feast for the carollers. Mitch and his 20+ dogs were utterly defeated by twenty ravenous, hungry, active boys.

It is with a heavy heart we announce the commencement of Operation Boys II Men 2003. This is not a boyband talent hunt as you may have imagined. Seven Seniors stand a chance. And, unlike real life, may the best men ALL win.

A trailer copy of the Company Magazine '02 is coming soon to an NCO near you. Compliments are welcome, as are the inevitable alternative.

12 boys, 1 parent, 4 days, 3 nights. How could we allow all the fun to be reduced to a bunch of figures? Listen as the Seniors diary is written.

Without further ado, it was another moment of elation for 4th KK, as we emerged champions in BOTH individual and team categories.

The Juniors had a wild time at the Junior Camp '02, St Joseph Church, Papar. Well, of course, did I mention the Seniors were in attendance...

The company in action at the celebrations, racking up another achievement in our long list of community service projects.

The 2nd National BB Quiz, held on 21 September 2002, was another leap of faith for 4th KK, the 2001 defending champions.

Another of the many activities 4th KK is proud to be part of. Cooking, door-to-door sales, stall-minding - you name it, we didn't just DO it, we RAN it.

The 4th KK officially screwed up at the Kota Kinabalu Battalion Cup '02...but won everyone's hearts.

Week One of the Battalion Cup saw football and volleyball being contested. It wasn't the best of times, but it certainly wasn't us at our worst.

All Juniors, Seniors and officers were in attendance at this joint trip with the 3rd KK Coy to MV Hannah II, a Korean missionary ship...

As far as the exhibitions, the gymnastics display, the drill display, the guard of honour, and the thanksgiving service were concerned, there was no doubt whatsoever who was in control...
