| Crazy Spring: Made in a March snowstorm while dreaming of spring. Fabric, batting, and many of the embellishments are 100% cotton. Kite in top center is inspired by Kumiko Sudo's Fabled Flowers. Hand quilted and embellished. |
| Crazy Summer: I had so much fun with the first that I pieced this one a few weeks later. The pattern for the beaded trim, two inches from the top, was copied from an antique papoose carrier in the visitors center at Chirachaua National Monument. Cotton fabric, wool batting, hand quilted and embellished. |
