My Current Starmax Configuration:
- Minitower 3000/200
- NewerTech G3/260/130/512k clocked to 300/120 (unstable at 320/128)
- 160mb RAM (single-sided 32mb + two 64mb TechWorks dimms)
- OS 9.04
- ADB: Motorola Extended Keyboard, Kensington Turbomouse, Gravis Joystick
- ADB (on occasion): Numerical pad from Adjustable Keyboard
- PS2: Fellowes PS/2 2-button mouse (using TheMouse2B)
- IDE 0: 12G Western Digital 5400rpm ATA/66 IDE drive
- IDE 1: ATAPI Zip drive
- SCSI 3: Stock Teac 16x SCSI CD-ROM (using Apple CD Driver from OS 7.6)
- SCSI 2: Smart&Friendly CD-R 4012 4x12 CD-Burner (Toast 3.5.7)
- Built-in Video: 4mb VRAM simm, runs a 15" NEC multiscan
- PCI 1: Diamond Monster Voodoo1 card (w/Techworks drivers)
- PCI 2: ixMicro ixTV card [VCR(coax),webcam(rca), system camera(s-video)]
- PCI 3: MacAlly USB card (Lexar CompactFlash reader, clients' USB drives)
- PCI 5: SMC EZ-Net 10/100 card (SMC 1211 OS 9 drivers)
- External SCSI 6: Pinnacle 650mb MO
- External SCSI 5: Syquest 200mb 5.25"
- External SCSI 4: Micronet 2G/4G Tape drive
- External SCSI 0: Empty HDSC-20 case for switching SCSI drives
- Cambridge Systems PC-Works speakers
- Apple Plaintalk microphone
- USR 33.6 modem upgraded to 56k

As of this writing, there is no report of Mac OS X beta
either installing or running on a 4400 or on a Starmax.
