Family

Pradeep is a  man with not many hobbies  and feel at times contended with life with whatever little it gives to him. But he is a sincere  and honest man and found of varied reading and is also  health conscious with regular jogging and walking. He enjoys writing articles for newspapers and magazines. He neither smokes nor drinks. He of course enjoys seeing Hindi movies in picture halls and watching TV almost 6-8 hrs daily.

Pradeep Gupta was born in India at Lucknow on 15^th Feb 1949

Schooling was done at GMPHS Kota (Rajasthan) and studied engineering at IIT Roorkee from 1967 to 1971 and earned bachelor degree in Electronics &Communication.. 

Transformation of Shy and introvert boy to bright and open man took place after marriage on 8^th Dec 1974..Blessed with sons on 19^th Dec 1975 and 26^th August 1978.

Family life begun at Allahabad in 1975 and family was shifted to Delhi in 1985 Since then life at Delhi has been wonderful

Currently in 2009-10,he serves as Sr consultant at PMU DIT.He was Advisor (IT) to DTC in 2000-01 to MCD in 2005-06 . He also served in 2006, ITDA, Govt of Uttaranchal as ChiefTechnical Advisor

Also worked for SAIL for 20 years in Corporate office at Delhi in CC&C and developed many telephone and computer networks for SAIL and its plants. He also led CC&C Department from 1999 to 2000 and tackled Y2K problem of SAIL He took VRS in Dec 2004

Taught technical subjects at Lucknow Polytechnic. Worked  in  R&D at  Indian Telephone Industry at Bangalore and Naini Also worked at ITI, Naini in EDP Picture at Naini

Has widely traveled abroad for professional works and for personal tours including UNDP tour to USA, Germany, and Australia. In 1976-77, he was sent by ITI to NEC Japan for 3 months training.  Picture at NEC Japan1

He has 2 sons and one granddaughter and one grandsone!!!

Sandeep, elder son is currently working with Infosyis and was earlier with Tata Consultancy  Services  as Associate Consultant and his wife who has Masters in Computer Applications is currently stays at home. He has stayed in Sweden and in USA for one year each.

Siddhartha, younger son is working as  System  Analysist with American Express His wife a MBA from IMT is also working with MicroSoft. He has traveled many a times to USA and stayed there for more than 2 years

Parents lived in Lucknow. Mother died on 17^th sep 1983 and Father on 8^th Dec 1987.Pradeep had 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Elder brother died in 1993 and his  family now lives in Lucknow. His sisters quite elder to him live in Delhi and Jaipur and younger brother lives in Faridabad.

Pradeep has many close family members  living in Delhi including almost all family  members of his wife  and in laws of his sons who  are now married
