| The pool has been a blast for the whole family, we spend all weekend in our backyard, playing games and listening to the radio. All of our hard work has been rewarded with a refreshing fun zone that will be with us for many years! |

| Despite digging the day before and returning the equiptment on Sunday, we still managed easter egg coloring and hunting, and the kids enjoyed baskets from the Easter bunny. Little Eddie is the fastest egg colorer, Rebecca is the slowest making sure every egg has its own personal touch, and Sarah made sure that each of her eggs were thoroughly soaked in every color. |
| In February we had two award winners, Rebecca received a certificate of recognition for always being on task and Eddie received an award of excellence in math. Eddie is a math whiz and attends the Third grade class during math time. |
| I built Mission Santa Ines for school. I liked learning about the California missions. I had fun building my mission. I got an A on my mission and report. |

| On May 3rd, Eddie made his First Holy Communion. He was really happy and it was wonderful how his class was able to share the entire experience together as close friends. Don't my boys look so handsome! |

| Sarah is a happy spirit full of energy and a very creative imagination. We all love to play the many games and scenarios that she makes up. |
 |

| Eddie loves all of the fun things he gets to do with his Cub Scout Den. They do a lot of building and he went bowling and ice skating for the first time. |

| One of our funnest treats this summer was a visit from the Sands Family. While they were here we had a lot of leisurely fun in our backyard and around Patterson. We also spent a day in Columbia, a historic gold rush town, where we got a thrill out of panning for gold. |

| My mom made a camping trip for Girl Scouts.We called it horse camp.It was for three days and two nights.It was a BLAST! |

| I was unable to take Sarah for her "three year old" pictures because for three days in a row, she got a new scratch on her face. They are nearly all gone now I will take her soon. |

| Sarah's love for animals made walking through Micke Grove Zoo very exciting for her. She even got to stand next to and pet a miniature pony. |

| We spent a leisurely long weekend in South Lake Tahoe in early October. We didn't do anything in particular, but were able to catch up on some relaxing quality family time. |

| The holidays are here and we have been busy! With this update I've combined all of the 2003 pages into one page, we now have two new pages Florida Vacation (2002) and Hawaii Vacation (2003), and the Family Tree page is still under construction. |

| I had a lot of fun making Eddie's Headless Horseman costume for Halloween this year. He won the Funniest costume prize in his class! |

| Long ago Grandma Pegi made a Rainbow Brite costume for me. It was lost over the years, but she found another pattern and had to make it for Sarah. Rebecca can't believe that I was 11 when I dressed as Rainbow Brite for Halloween! |
