| Our Florida Vacation |
| In December 2002 we flew to Florida to visit Ed's parents. |

| This was Sarah's first airplane ride and the first one that Rebecca and Eddie will remember. We left cold, stormy California on December 17th and found great weather in Florida. |

| Grandma and Grandpa Vlha babysat Sarah while Aunt Ria took us and the big kids to Busch Gardens. We spent all day Thursday, enjoying very short lines and fun roller coasters. |

| Our kids were chosen to dance on stage during a show. They danced to "Walk Like an Egyptian"! |
| December 22, was Grandpa Vlha's 70th birthday and he was surprised with a family reunion. |

| We attended mass with Grandma and Grandpa at Saint Leo Abbey where they enjoy volunteering and spending time. Eddie's sisters and their families hid in the cafeteria to shout "SURPRISE" at lunch time. |
| The next day we all went to Anna Maria Beach for a fun filled day of ocean, sand, and play. The kids loved playing with all of their cousins. |
| Their second child, Teresa and her husband Jake and children Jacob, Joseph, Jenny, Josh, Jeremy, and Josiah drove down from New York. |
| Thier oldest child, Patti and her husband Tom and children Joshua and Gabriella drove down from South Carolina. |
| Their third child, Maria and her husband Jon and children Tori and Matt live close by in Florida. |
| Their only son, Eddie and our family flew out from California. |

| The beach was beautiful, the water was only a little chilly, the sand was soft and white with lots of sea shells, and the sky was blue and sunny giving us a very warm day. We had such a wonderful time in Florida that we can't wait to go back again. |
