| During the summer, you'll catch my family playing on the Allegheny River with Dad's boat. The crew love to ski, tube, etc. behind it. We have a camp along the river, and we spend a lot of weekends there! We enjoy ourselves with food, swimming and boating, play cards, and eat mountain pies and listening to country music around the fire in the evenings. |
| I have always been very involved with my kids and their functions. I was a Girl Scout Leader, Boy Scout Committee Member, PTA Volunteer, School Volunteer, Room Mother, Band Chaperone, Little League Mom, Ti Kwon Do Mom, Koolaid and Cookie Mom......LOL! I think you get the picture! My two Pride and Joys were always first, and would sometimes say, 'please let me do something you don't help with!' Man, was that hard to do! They "think" they are adults now, but they are and will always be Mom's kids! |

| Anyone that knows me, knows that I am a Mickey FANatic! My hero is a mouse! I have Mickey sweatshirts, t-shirts, sweaters, earrings, watch, charms, blanket, stuffed Mickeys, porcelain Mickeys, and computer disks! There are Mickey Christmas ornaments, lights, tree top, and carousel, to name 'just' a few things! I even have a Mickey page! Hmmm... think I like Mickey Mouse? Naaaaaaaaa! |

| Literature and poetry are also among my many enjoyments. I love reading books on early Britain; the castles, the medieval times, etc. I am especially fascinated by Merlin, Arthur-ian legends and myths, and King Richard I. I love early British writers, such as Chaucer. I have written some silly poetry, mainly more about my children than anything. |

| I also enjoy genealogy and am often working on my family ancestry. I have a lot of time put into working on it, and am constantly looking for new links and information on it. Right now, the one I have the most work on is the Shields lineage. My family is Dutch, English, Scottish, and mostly Irish. |
