PINOYpop now introduces a new member by the name Mickey Alarilla a.k.a "Prince Charming". A very good bass singer he is with a great voice to wooo the ladies. He was discovered by Jerone Aguinaldo and auditioned over in Lincoln City, Oregon. At the audition Both and CJ were amazed by his abilities to sing base and blend in with PINOYPop. Justin was not able to attend. "His sweet talk is so cool *laughs*, I know the ladies will adore it" Says Jerone. Living in Tigard, Oregon as a sophomore at Tigard High school, this guy got it all under control.

Ian Gomez of PINOYpop has signed a contract for the Pure Playaz. "Boot" Chris of Pure Playaz left the team Friday leaving the Pure Playaz down to only 11 players. 12 Players are at expectation for team management. Ian knows he won't get playing time since them is very stacked but he will do his best. Ian does have a good stat sheet for basketball. He was on the Clackamas All-Star team 4 years in a row including 3 All-Star MVP's averaging 35.8 PPG in his All-Star appearances. Ian is very nervous about playing and will probably just be another "name" on the list since the team has already so much talent. "The Pinoy Shootout is not just any league, It can be the walk path to a $1 Million Contract to play for the P.B.A. (Phillipine Basketball Assocation) " Says Jerone. Hopefully Ian can Just hang with the guys and find a little bit of playing time on the list to show what he can do. In Other news, Robby Sitton, PINOYPop Manager, is also playing for Pure Playaz and was apart of the "Pinoy Heat" team last year.

As you all know, during the summer of 2001, Both CJ and Jerone of PINOYPop played for a basketball team in the PINOY SHOOTOUT called “Pinoy Heat”. Pinoy Heat came in 8th place behind KKK and infront of Redstorm. Pinoy Heat’s record was 2-8, the 2 games they won were from teams not showing up. As depressed as Jerone was, He decided to put together a “championship contender” team for the 2002 Pinoy Shootout league. In the off season there was lots of Shuffling in Jerone’s lineup. On December 14, 2001, Jerone asked CJ if he wanted to go on Jerone’s team and CJ wasn’t sure as he responded “I might have to play for a school summer league so iuno”. Jerone is one of those guys that only accepts “yes” as an answer. As Spring came along, Jerone knew that his former coach Oscar was not gonna put Jerone on his roster since they had many arguments last season. Jerone got really depressed from being on a loser team last year so he decided to put up his own team for the Fillipino American Youth Association, and they are called the “Pure Playaz”. His team played an off season exhibition game against one of the best known teams last year called “Susi Brothers” and the Pure Playaz won the game 60-30 with only one of its starting players along with 4 reserves. “I feel good about this team” says Jerone. During April, CJ and his Dad, the former assistant coach, decided to make their own team called “Mas Pogi”. Now Pinoy heat is officially devided into 3 teams: Portland Barcada, Mas pogi, and Pure Playaz. Which one is the best? We’ll see what’s up, but right now everyone is fearing the Pure Playaz. Justin Abuan also Joined Mas pogi in April. CJ asked Ian to Join his team but Ian replied “no”. Ian’s Dad is the assistant coach for Jerone’s team and Jerone’s Dad is the head coach. We will update you with more news ASAP.

KaziKamie rejected PINOYpop. PINOYpop's singing talents weren't great enough for business. PINOYpop blows their big chance. Robby sitton takes no credit as manager and Jason is in college and we have no idea what he's up to.

All members of PINOYPop have agreed to wait another 1-2 years before going on tour. Main reason is, Justin is not ready to travel. Justin and Ian are both in Middle school as well as CJ. Jerone and Manager Robby Sitton have agreed on waiting till all members are atleast in High school. Hopefully it's a good decision so just hold on, PINOYPop fans.

PINOYPop is training for their Kamikazie Contract. Jerone has hit the weight room and is working out. Ian is working on his notes. CJ is trying to findout which hair style is best for him. Justin is trying to get together a good set of clothes. Together, PINOYPop is getting ready for the big times.

PINOYPop went caroling around Oregon. Jerone's father saw an article in the news paper saying that all People at retirement centers really want for Christmas is a group of kids singing Christmas songs. Jerone kept that idea in mind, and he got PINOYPop to carol for people at retirement centers. He also got PINOYPop to carol at a variety of houses too. Jerone lit up the houses playing his alto saxophone as they also got vocal teacher Grethel Gonzalez to sing a solo as well. Website manager Jason Forral was also caroling with PINOYPop, as he made background beats with a tambourine.

CJ transferred back to his old private school St. Stephens middle school, from his previous school Mt. Tabor middle school. He said he missed his friends, and people at his old school missed him. One of the reasons for switching was that Justin farted in his face.

PINOYPop has just signed Grethel Gonzales, pinay from Portland, Oregon. She was in a dance group called "AznInvazn" and was fired by Lead Dancer/Singer Julian Del Rosario for "being a girl". She then chose to sign with PINOYPop as a vocal teacher. Grethel Gonzales has appeared in many Fillipino Programs as a singer. "She's the most talented girl ever... We just love her voice" Says PINOYPop Members. She has offered to help PINOYPop rise.

CJ transferred from his private school St. Stephen's Middle school, to Justin's middle school which is Mt. Tabor. He did it because there were more people to meet rather than at his private school. He has already met a lot of new friends and is happy from where he is.

On July 10, 2001, Robby Sitton, a mestizo, signed a contract to be the new recruit for PINOYPop to replace Ian Gomez. Robby says "This sounds like something you can get chicks with... heheh well I know I'm gonna be singing with some talented singers here and I hope I can just blend in! That's all... The group has lots a talent. I know that 4 a fact from when I heard them sing. I know that PINOYPop still needs Ian with his soprano voice and I sure can't replace his true spot. I'm not really best friends with any of the members except for their Instrumentalist and Jerone, but I do know CJ as well from our basketball team. But oh well let's see what happens here..."

Ian, cousin of Jerone and Soprano of PINOYPop quit the band. Ian and Jerone had this conversation and Ian said "Screw this! I ain't a good singer! CJ and U (Jerone) sound good enough anyways... It would be best if I left...kuz man you guys are too good! I'll just look bad..." and Jerone tried to talk Ian back in but it was too late after Ian finalized his decision.

Ian visited to the Philippines for his Grandparents Golden Anniversary over the holidays. He was found on new Years night next to the toilet seat in his Uncle's bathroom. Ian fainted and was found to be contaminated with some type of bacteria. What happened was that, Ian went to play basketball in the provinces and played with kids whom he didn't really know. After playing for 5 straight hours in the sun, he was offered a bag of water. He didn't know where this water came from since he was so desperate for some thing to drink. Following that afternoon was New Years Eve. When it was New years, He ran to the bathroom and vomited all over the toilet 5 consecutive times. In the mourning he was found next to the toilet very sick and he had fainted during the night. He was then taken to the nearest Providence hospital where they couldn't really do much to help him. He was stuck in the hospital for 1 1/2 weeks. Once he returned to the U.S., the air port health management rushed Ian to Legacy Emanuel Hospital to check up on him. They said the bacteria Ian got could be fatal. God Bless Ian Gomez of PINOYPop everyone. We ask that you pray for him to be alright. Thank you PINOYPop fans for your concern. The grandmother of Web Manager, Jason Forral, has also been put in the hospital on the same day.

Ian currently is playing for his school basketball team at Sunrise Middle school and made it to the 8th grade varsity basketball team as a 7th grader. It's one of Ian's greatest achievements. He also is nominated as a "3 Rivers Jr. All star". CJ is also playing for his school basketball team. He says he can compete against high schoolers and is not afraid. He is the leading scorer for St. Stephens Middle school. Jerone is RED HOT Sizzling in the YMCA Mt. Hood basketball team area. People have been saying that Jerone doesn't give anyone an open shot. If you shoot an open shot on Jerone, then you'll end up seeing the ball fly the other way. Justin plays for his school basketball team at Mt. Tabor middle school.

Jerone Practiced with the Varsity Football team at Gresham High and sprained his ankle badly during a "blitz" exercise. He was rushed immediately to "Roberson's Clinic", a near Medical Center by Gresham High school. Dr. Canzler, the Gresham doctor said "No Football for 2 Weeks due to your sprained ankle." Another thing was that Jerone is required to wear a cast and stay on Crutches for the period of time. "He tore many ligaments in his foot. Which is really bad..." Says Dr. Canzler. Jerone will be as good as new soon and will be ready for his next PINOYPop performance.

Pinoy HeaT Won 2 basketball games! But they were both from the other team not showing up...PARTY TIME!

CJ feels bad because he thinks he's one of the worse playas on the worse team in the Pinoy Shootout b-ball league. Jerone has been suspended for 1 football game and 1 week of football once school starts. Justin's baseball team just lost the semi championships to a German lil' league team. Till then, we will provide you with latest news available.

Justin Is playing for a Baseball team that is very good and will be going to the Babe Ruth World championship game. His team is one of the BEST teams in the WORLD! Ian plays for a Clackamas basketball team called the Blue Jays and is undefeated beating every opponent by at least 30 points or more. Ian was selected as an All-Star for the Izzy's pizza Jr. Tournament. Ian got the MVP trophy and is ranked as the best player in his basketball league. CJ and Jerone also play on a basketball team called PINOY HeaT. Jerone AKA "Deisel or Big J" is 1 of the 2 All-Stars from PINOY HeaT in the Pinoy Shoot out b-ball league along with Point guard "Fart Breath" Reynaldo. CJ is a developing player and is the youngest player in the league. Jerone is also involved in the Gresham High school Football team and may be on Varsity. September 10, 2001 NEW RECRUITS FOR NEW LIFE PINOYPop feels that now is the time to bring on the big moves as they approach the fame they've been dreaming of. From the first day PINOYPop signed its contract for Kazikamie records, they said it would be best to work with a "family atmosphere" of people. On September 15 (Jerone's b-day), Robby Sitton saw that his PINOYPop career was not officially over as he signed an official contract for PINOYPop as the Manager. Jerone said "The boys have really spent time with Robby lately and we developed this "friendly bond". We saw that Robby always seemed to have some kind of connection for everything we needed and we feel that he is responsible enough for the job. He was at the top of our list for this job and we are thankful for his involvement. We know that Robby can be the boost to take us to the next level as we approach fame". On the same day, following Robby's contract signing was the signing of the "instrumentalist" position which went to Jason Forral. CJ and Jerone said "We are Proud to announce Jason Forral as PINOYPop's new instrumentalist. We know he has lots of talent and is very energetic. He is just what we need as we rise to the next level. We've all known him for a long, long time and have recently developed a closer friendship with him. We feel very comfortable making him our instrumentalist since we know him pretty well. He can also Beat box very well. Wish us luck as we look for people who can fill up the job slot". People who can approach PINOYPop as a friend rather than a worker are what PINOYPop needs in this "family atmosphere" it is trying to build for this new life of fame. Return to top

July 17, 2001 MORE NEWS! You thought this news was getting good eh..? Well hear this... CJ, Jerone, and Ian were talking about Robby in the group...CJ said, "Isn't this kinda funny? We don't even know Robby and we invited him in the group kuz we needed to replace Ian...? Haha I feel dumb" then Ian said "Damn! It's entirely my fault... If I didn't quit he wouldn't have to be here...Hmmm what to do, what to do?" then Jerone said "This is kinda funny though CJ... I mean I was the only one who really knew him anyway... I mean all of us PINOYPop members are all tyte 2getha and we've known each other our hole lives and here we are inviting someone we hardly know here in the group...I wonder what Justin has to say bout this...". Some members said his voice did not blend in with the band. From what PinoyPop said, Robby is OUT! PINOYPop would like to keep their Original members instead of havin5members. The next day after this conversation, CJ and Jerone met up with Justin and asked him about Robby. Justin's answer was "Damn! Why is he in here anyways? I don't even know him and I don't even talk to him! Plus we don't wanna have one energetic foo and the rest are just there...That was a bad move putting Rob in the group. Well who cares... Just kick him out I don't give a $hit! Haha" and Jerone answered "aright... I guess he's out and I don't plan to invite any more other people in the band... Just us 4 foos! FINAL!" and CJ said "YES! July 12, 2001 BIGGEST NEWS EVER JUST HAPPENED! Ian Gomez rejoins PINOYPop and apologizes for leaving. Ian said "Damn! I feel bad for leaving the band... We're all in this $hit together... I know that no one can replace me but I think it would only be fair if we kept Robby in since we need a bass singer. But man... I shouldn't have left in the first place. Kuz PinoyPop 4 life baby!"
