PINOYPop City Home
Welcome to PINOYPop City (Updated January 30, 2003). We are glad that you are taking some time off to join us and learn more about PINOYPop, a non-profitable Asian Singing Group. PINOYPop has recently changed it's name to "1~WaYy" but has not changed websites as of yet. PINOYPop is not well-known around the nation but is no stranger to most of Portland, Oregon and parts of Southern California and Northern Washington. PINOYPop is a group of 5 young men: CJ, Justin, Jerone, Ian and Mickey. All boys were raised in the state of Oregon. PINOYPop has been around since October of 2000. Projected to be at the fame level by now, lead singer Jerone has announced that PINOYPop has failed to reach where it wanted be. "I'm very disappointed... All fans, All the viewers look at our website and get all excited lyk 'yay finally a boyband to represent all asians', and that really made me committed to making this group rise. The rest of the members are so lazy to come to practice, ashamed of their voices, making the worse of their lives. I know I have the most "packed-schedule" out of all of us, and yet I can still commit to 1~WaYy. This really hurt my feelings that I had to work hard and come along way for nothing... On the behalf of PINOYPop/1~WaYy, I appologize to all fans out there for letting you all down..." Jerone wrote a 3 songs that will soon be on the Lyrics page before March of 2003 and hopefully will record it and put it onto Kazaa or any MP3 sharing program so that the fans could see what PINOYPop could've been. The Last song PINOYPop was suppose to learn was "Baby Girl" originally recorded by Innervoice, but only Jerone and Ian were the people to actually learn it. The status of PINOYPop/1~WaYy is not is not officially gonna drop, unless they conclude to disclosure of PINOYPop/1~WaYy. As for now, they are still together and members do not think that they will break up, they believe they're on "The Rocky Road" for now... But to all the fans, PINOYPop would like to say "Thanks" for your support no matter what they are going through and for the slow website updates.
