I will explain the differences in the types of contracts with each.  I recommend you decide how you would like to purchase your puppy; as a

before considering  purchasing.  Items on this page are for reference only. Click on form title to view that sample contract.

FINAL CONTRACTS:
Companion/Pet Contract
The Companion/Pet contract guarantees against life threatening  genetic
health issues.
Breeding/Show Prospect Contract
The Breeding/Show contract is fairly standard.  It guarantees against genetic defects but does not guarantee the mature quality of the puppy. The Buyer of a puppy bought under this contract is willing to take the possible risk that the pup may or may not mature to finishable quality.  (Read Example below)
Show Quality Contract
This Show Contract is being used to guarantee the puppy you purchase will be of showable quality at maturity.  Some times we can do our very best to evaluate a puppy and on occasion they do not mature to our expectations.  I devised this contract to give the buyer protect from the show pup that "falls apart".  It is not a "Must Show" contract, however; unless a disqualifying fault would be present before a show career could start, in which case a replacement would be automatic, the burden of proof that the dog is not finishable would require showing the dog to prove otherwise. This is a bit longer contract than most to cover all the issues but for those who want only a show dog, this would contract would give some piece of mind.
EXAMPLE:

One very nice puppy that is evaluated and believed to mature to show quality
is sold for $2,000 on the Breeding/Show prospect contract.  Should this puppy
mature   as predicted, the Buyer has made a good choice.  Should the puppy
not mature to showable quality, the Buyer has assumed that risk and would
     have no recourse.

The same puppy purchased on the Show Quality Contract for $3,000  becomes
an AKC champion, as expected, which would be the same under either contract.         If the puppy should not mature as expected, this contract gives the buyer some
assurance that if this puppy does "fall apart" it will be replaced.

Yes, the price is different depending on how you would like to buy a puppy.
Many breeders would simply go for a middle of the road price and offer no
quality guarantee, I have bought dogs this way myself.  Having experienced the
disappointment of  buying a puppy that doesn't turn out, I developed these
     options for buyers.
