The list below shows some possible situations and gives examples of ways to improve your photographs.

Technique Tips

*hold camera still
*use tripod as much as possible
*don't point camera toward sun
*use flash with mixed daylight
*include essential visual information only
*try placing subject at intersecting thirds in photo(see right)
**keep camera away from sand, water, direct sun
consider other viewpoints before shooting
try different films
take notes on camera settings
take notes on mistakes
