PFA Agra has been allotted 2 acres (around 8000 sq mts) of land by the local authorities. Our land was undulated and is away from the main road. The Government has given us INR 27,00,000 (~ 68,000 USD) for the construction of Animal Shelter cum Hospital and the purchase of an ambulance. We were supposed to raise INR 3,00,000 (~ 7,500 USD) which we were successful in raising. However, in their scheme they have not catered for the construction of internal roads and the approach road to the shelter house. The estimated amount for the same is INR 10,00,000 (Approximately). Moreover, the government will not be paying anything for the running of the Animal Shelter cum Hospital. The target expenditure for running the shelter is detailed below :-

(At the moment due to shortage of funds we are not able to run at the optimum level. As of now we are running with a bare minimum staff and expenditure.)
Although some of the running expenses will be offset by Funded Animal Welfare Schemes but still it will not be enough to meet out
the entire expenses. We appeal to all Animal Lovers worldwide to put in their share for the noble cause.
