They lived in America

 

North American Indians lived in the "New World" a long time before  Europeans

arrived there. Many centuries before Columbus, Indians hunted, fished and

planted corn in America. They killed the buffalo for food. They fished 

in the rivers of Canada and they farmed the land in  Arizona. Before the white

man arrived, only the Indians lived in America. They were the masters of the

North American continent.
