Welcome to the Edinburgh University Persian Society Site
The society is based in Edinburgh, Scotland, and most of the members are students here in Edinburgh. The society was founded not so long ago, in January 2000, by an enthusiastic group of people and is now a registered society of Edinburgh University with more than 100 members and is well-known for its CLUB PERSIA events.
Not all the members of the society are Persian. The sole aim of the society is to introduce more students to the rich Persian culture (Music in particular!!!), and bring all the interested individuals a bit closer together, by organizing events, parties and social events, generally celebrating Persian culture and traditions.
The Persian Society has been a real success so far. We're all friends, we enjoy meeting new people and we're having fun.
