Mission Statement
Edinburgh University Persian Society is a non-profit, non-religious,
non-political society at the University of Edinburgh dedicated to
contribute to the cultural diversity and the intellectual traditions
among its constituencies through holding organised events that
highlight the context of Persian culture's encounters with other
cultures and civilisations.

EUPS does not represent the Iranian students at the University of
Edinburgh and it is not the official voice of any culture.
EUPS will not participate in, nor will it sponsor, cultural activities that are
offensive to other cultures, violate human rights, disturb peace, and
generate hate literature.
The individual views presented through this forum do not represent
the view of the society.
Scope
- EUPS will strive to strengthen its ties wwith the academic
departments at the University of Edinburgh through holding joint
events.
- EUPS will seek to contribute to the schollarship in the study of
Persian civilisation by organising lecture series on Persian culture.
- EUPS will celebrate cultural occasions inn an effort to raise
cultural awareness among its constituencies.
- EUPS will facilitate the link between thee community and the
University in matters concerning Persian culture.
