This isn't technically poems, but, oh, well.  I need to vent, so every so often I'll place a personal essay up here.

It's pretty obvious to me that industrialization equals corruption, which is a fairly hypocritical thing for me to say, considering that I'm using the internet to declare this.  Sure, it's convenient, but it's an exhibit of more corruption than you can ever imagine.  Some people are very . . . confused about their lives or have fallen victim to the human condition.  Humans as a rule are driven by greed and lust, which is a sad reality that we must face.  No one's motives are unselfish. There's always a voice in the back of your head screaming that helping this person will make you look so much better or ease your guilt from being such a bastard for a while.  It is far too easy to lie on the internet, which is why some many people's emotions get fucked with when their internet love turns out to be someone else entirely.  I won't even touch upon the subject of pornography.  Don't get me wrong, here, I'm not preaching ABC-happy-fun-politically correct-religious sites.  Hell no!  Even those are bad, trying to mold another person's mind into a particular way of thinking.  Technology gives us more time for idle play, a key moment in which sin attacks.  Do you think farmers in the 1800's had time to think about how sexy Jennifer Lopez is?  It's so very easy for all of us now, so convenient.  A walk down the street can buy you ready made meals, clothes, even sex.  We do no actual work.  As upset as I am with society today, why can't I just pull the plug on electricity and live naturally?  I'm (we're) weak.  I can't for some odd reason.  It's incredibly frustrating to loathe something you're infinitely a part of.   Bitching gets me no where though and, hey . . . I think the Simpson's are on.  I'm such a contradiction.
