I began noticing this gorgeous siamese cat(here posing with my girlfriend) around Oct'2000. It's a stray that loiters outside my house. I began to feed it and soon I 'took her in' and named her 'Rumocha', since the colours on her body carries shades of rum and mocha.

Rumocha would come in and hang around my garden frequently.Began my investment in commercial cat food, friskies. I would feed her rice and fish once in a while too.
Soon, she was pregnant. Suspected father is a huge male cat that was named 'Sinbad', as he would go around 'terrorising' female cats and mate with 'em.

The first pregnancy remains a mystery. Mocha disappeared for a week or so, I thought that she was off to give birth elsewhere. She would come back once every 2 days begging for food and water and would leave immediately. However, after that week, she did not go back anymore. The kittens were nowhere to be found, I assumed the worst happened.
Barely weeks after, Mocha was pregnant again. This time, by Sinbad again I supposed. Mocha disappeared in late may2001, to give birth I supposed. As again, she would come back every two days to feed and run off to tend to her kittens. After a few days, she would try bring the kittens back. But she was helpless that she couldn't find a shelter to shield her kittens from humans, and would take her kittens out again. I tried desperately to construct make-shift homes out of cardboard boxes for her kittens. It would take several tries before Mocha would accept letting her kittens stay.

Seen here are the three delicate creations, poised for a Kodak moment. From top, Tommy, Charlie, Coco
Best lookalike brother and sister - Charco ( charlie and coco ) Can you spot the difference?
Playful, healthy, and the only kitten with a long tail. Died in a car accident on one early sempterber morning in 2001. RIP
Coco taking a dump, funny how cats never feel shy when doing business while bumans do.
One of Coco's favourite activity, chasing frogs, torturing them till they die. Not really interested in eating 'em, she simples loves to chase after moving objects.

Tommy yearns to join in from the sidelines, but Coco never allows anyone to join in!
One of my best/fav pics taken using my lousy digicam. Tragedy struck on a wednesday night on march 2002. A car had ran over her..... RIP
And there're two. By april 2002, tommy grew as big as her mom, mocha. A rather difficult picture taken while both just awoken from a catnap. ( Best time to take pictures of 'em is while they're groggy, and you can place 'em in most positions you want! )
One of the happier days, when all three kittens would play everyday, fight everyday. Here chilling out on my railbox.
Great memories of the Kitten days. Can spend hours just watching and playing.
1st June 2002. Tommy reaching One year old, gave a feast of canned cat food. One year old is an age I believe where kittens are no longer, are streetwise and able to survive on. AVI clip of tommy here
Recent pix, july 2003. Tommy is 2yrs old already. Seen here grumpy with wenhui. She just got him a new collar, and he lost it days after...
